Prohibited
The following are not permitted and result in immediate termination without refund:
- Sending unsolicited bulk email. SMTP ports 25, 465, 587 and 2525 are blocked at the gateway.
- Port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or any form of network reconnaissance against systems you do not own.
- Credential stuffing, brute forcing, or unauthorised access attempts.
- Denial of service attacks or any traffic intended to degrade a third party service.
- Distributing malware, phishing pages, or content that facilitates fraud.
- Accessing or distributing child sexual abuse material.
- Any activity that is illegal under Japanese law.
Why this is enforced strictly
Our exit IP addresses belong to real Japanese households. Abuse does not merely get an address blocklisted; it can result in the household losing their internet contract, and in serious cases in a criminal investigation directed at a private family. We treat violations accordingly.
Reporting abuse
If traffic from one of our addresses is causing a problem, contact us with the IP address, the timestamp including timezone, and a description. We keep per-session logs and can identify the responsible account.
